This has been the most blog slacking to date on my part but I will not apologize. Instead I will simply try to do better. However, it may not be possible to do better for the next couple weeks due to the fact that I do not have an internet connection. Right now I am chillin in some cafe in downtown g-vegas mooching an internet connection. I must admit that this year is much more better than last year. So far I have not had any work on weekends, not a single night of call, and I usually get home before 5:00. I just finished up 2 weeks of oncology and enjoyed it quite a bit. I worked more than I was supposed to but it has was interesting and the do I was working with did a good job of teaching me. Today I finished up my second day of nephrology and it was a nice change from my first day. Yesterday I worked with an old school doc who hated the new compuerized medical record system and was flustered by the fact that we were constantly running behind and his wife had fallen in the shower ealier that morning. I did however find some enjoyment watching him get fustrated with the computer and start hitting the computer while he said "shit" and dropped f bombs. Today on the other hand ran smoothly and was filled with teaching from another doc in the practice. Unfortunately the group I work with is pretty big and all the docs rotate between offices so I have not clue from day to day who I will be working with. Anyway...I must get going back home. I am tired of studying and would like to get home to continue on my journey to win the world cup. By the way...I took this pic while visiting my grandparents a couple months ago. I have not had much time to photoshop and actually just turned on my laptop for the first time in about 2 weeks. I thought this pic had a cool kind of postcard feel to it.
