Over the weekend I had the opportunity to take some rather nice cars for a drive through the mountains (map of area we drove). It was around 65 degrees and the leaves are all starting to change so needless to say the conditions were perfect. I would have loved to take the new rabbit out on the winding mountain roads but I had to say goodbye to her for the day. To take the rabbit's place were a Mercedes SL55 AMG with 493 hp and the Lamborghini Gallardo with 495 hp. Needless to say they were absolutely amazing to drive. Both the handeling and acceleration were crazy good. After this experience I can definitely see how some people love to drive. I think we were on the road for around 6 hours and the whole trip felt more like 45 minutes. Unfortunately getting back into the rabbit wa a little sad. At one point in time I thought my engine had a nice rumble and when I put the car in sport mode it had decent acceleration. Do not get me wrong I still love my car, but damn.
